Bernstein’s Suite from West Side Story, arranged for brass quintet, bursts with rhythmic energy and instantly recognizable tunes. Till Eulenspiegel, einmal anders! offers a playful retelling by Hasenöhrl of Strauss’s beloved tone poem about the mischievous folktale prankster. The program concludes with Berwald’s Grand Septet, a virtuosic and rarely heard gem that blends classical elegance with Romantic exuberance.
